Nutty idea is quite fun, doesn't really work too well, if I'm being honest - having Bogie answer a phone and say the odd word is OK but not really sustainable. Good fun for identifying clips though - missed Lana Turner in The Postman Always Rings Twice and didn't know The Bribe with Charles Laughton, Ava Gardner, Robert Taylor. Certainly made with affection.
Well photographed by Michael Chapman but really the idea of trying to match to clips from different DPs in different qualities was always going to be a problem.

A distinct plus and irony is the music of Miklos Rozsa, who actually did score some of the films shown!
