A dead centre. A remarkable achievement in atmosphere - had they seen IWWAZ? Music, art direction, photography, performances all combine to beautiful effect. An extraordinary film.
Those really long dissolves from Kerr into her flashbacks. She's remarkable.
And Storaro may have been amazing, and still is, but Jack Cardiff was there first...
I believe it was well received, did well in Japan and France, but there's no box office info.
