A marvellous experience - hats off to Dexter! Gone-straight criminal Charlie Creed-Miles regains trust of his sons - the elder, Will Poulter, is not doing a bad job with his younger brother Sammy Williams, but even he can't stop the pull of the drug gangs. Liz White is a prostitute, and the irresistible Charlotte Spencer plays Will's girlfriend, who completes the 'family'.

Great soundtrack, e.g. obscure Talk Talk song has Mark Hollis singing us up to final confrontation in pub. Lovely timing as Serkis approaches Creed-Miles as train passes in background.
