Scrapper (2023 Charlotte Regan & scr)

Like Eva Riley, Charlotte made her way through making shorts, such as the great BAFTA-nominated Standby, Dodgy Dave and Fry-Up. This is her debut feature. She said she hoped for more films about working class people with a sense of humour, and she's succeeded, in tale of Chigwell teen who's lost her mum and is living on her own, stealing bicycles to get by. She's Lola Campbell and her BF is Alin Uzun. Then her father who she's never known comes to stay - Harris Dickinson (County Lines).

Features nice little to-camera asides from various peripheral characters.

Regan's friends Molly Manning Walker and Elena Muntoni were the DP and production designer. The credited Script Editor is Paul Fraser, but I don't think it's that Paul Fraser as he isn't credited for having done anything in ages (2014 his last credit).
